Huish Leisure

November Closure

Statement

CENTRE CLOSURE UPDATE

Following the recent government announcement, Huish Leisure will be closed from Tuesday 3 November.

We will not be open on Wednesday 4 November.

This is obviously extremely upsetting news for all of our customers, clubs and staff, all of which where slowly getting used to the new procedures and some level of the new normal.

We feel we have solid and effective COVID measures in place and we want to thank all of our customers for respecting and helping us to implement these measures during our re-opening phases. It has been great to see so many of you returning to your fitness.

This doesn't mean that we may not see you through the wonderful world of YONDO. We are looking to put together a timetable of live classes to keep you all fit and healthy and ready for our return. We may struggle with Aqua Zumba or Aqua Fit (unless you have a very deep bath) but we are also looking into hiring out equipment such as spinning bikes, kettlebells, dumbbells etc. to ensure you're getting all of your favourite classes.

We have not taken the November Direct Debit payment and we will be holding off on taking this until we are able to re-open. All annual members will receive the duration of the closure added to the end of their memberships and any pre-paid activities will be held as credit for your return.

If you are interested in the hiring of equipment please contact us via email - huishleisure@educ.somerset.gov.uk

Thank you all for your ongoing support
